| Darwin Dolinka-Korda, founder and driving force behind the company, has a personal philosophy based on using the richness of colour and precision of form to generate artwork that seeks to add to the pleasures of living and the working environment. Earlier in her career Darwin was commissioned by Jaeger, Patons and Baldwin, Sirdar Wools, Woman and Womans Own Magazine for knitwear design projects. She extended her commercial activities into surface design for music and show business clients. Working with watercolour, silk paints, acrylic on canvas, wood engraving and computer graphics has led to a wide variety of commissions.One of the main aspects of her design techniques is flexibility, allowing easy translation into other media, ie rugs, wallpaper, textiles, packaging, ties, clothing and murals. |
